Ashley Laing

front end developer

I am a front-end developer growing into a full-stack developer and Resilient Coders alumni. During this past year, I have worked part-time at two digital agencies, completed a software engineer internship at Microsoft, and will be graduating in May 2018 with a Android Mobile Applications certification. At Howard Development and Consulting, I handled client help tickets, built WordPress sites and applied plugins and Advance Custom Fields. At Resilient Coders Lab, I have worked on many static sites and client projects using Angular 1.0, Ruby on Rails, BootStrap, as well as WordPress. I am a talented and hardworking human who works well in a team and individually.

Workflow restricted access to coffee, users were required to use RFID cards to track consumption which improved inventory by providing data on inventory levels in real-time
Using C# and XAML to develop a program that used sensors to control access to a coffee keg also known as kegerator lock
Worked in a team of software engineers and designer to Deploy to a Raspberry Pi
Researched requirements along with my team to define hardware design and electrical engineering scope
Managed version control using Github for deployment to Demo staging server on Microsoft Azure
Created scripts to store results to MySQLite including all sensor activity data Developed a program using C# and XAML
